Day 1: Sofia Arrival at Sofia airport. Walking tour of Sofia. Time at leisure. Overnight in Sofia.
Day 2: Sofia – Plovdiv – Brestovitsa – Plovdiv – Sofia, 385km. /B/
Early departure to Plovdiv. Walking tour in the Old town of Plovdiv /3,000 years long history/. Afternoon visit of a local winery in the village of Brestovitsa near Plovdiv to taste quality wines from South Thracian Region. Return to Sofia. Overnight in Sofia.
Day 3: Sofia – Rila – Melnik – Sandanski, 235 km. /B,L/ Departure to Rila monastery. Visit to the largest monastery on the Balkan peninsula. Lunch. Continue to Melnik to visit the Kordopulov’s House. Wine tasting at the cellar on the top of the village. Drive to Sandanski. Acommodation at the hotel. Overnight in Sandanski.
Day 4: Sandanski – Damianitza – Sofia, 185 km. /B,L/ Morning departure for the village of Damianitza. Visit to No Man’s Land vineyards and Damianitza winery. Wine tasting. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Sofia. Optional: dinner at a folk-style rstaurant. Overnight in Sofia.
Day 5: Sofia /B, D/ Departure transfer to the airport.
